No, none of the SPORTident stations (BSF7/8/9/BS11) should be mounted on a metal object. Fences and objects made of iron affect the functionality of all SPORTident stations. Therefore, under no circumstances should SPORTident stations be placed on iron fences or iron post stands.

Otherwise, the classic punching process may not work properly. When using contactless punching mode with the SIAC, the distance to the station and therefore the range may be reduced.

It should also be ensured that there are no metal objects in the direct area, as these can also affect the function of the station.
